Managed service providers in the homeland security market are challenged with managing a diverse set of equipment ranging from airport metal detectors to sophisticated seaport security systems. At both airports and seaports, there is a compelling need to consolidate the maintenance of the vast number of different security devices, dispersed across the country, into a unified support system that improves the efficiency of security screening through proactive monitoring.
Axeda software enables service providers to:

Axeda was selected with Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC to support the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Axeda will provide the Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) enterprise management solution that will communicate data and images to TIP Ready X-ray (TRX) systems deployed at airports across the country.
Boeing Airport Security Program is working with Axeda to provide efficient proactive remote monitoring, repair, maintenance, and upgrades of this mission-critical equipment.
