Foxboro, MA - January 4, 2007 - Axeda Corporation, the leading provider of remote product service and support software, today announced that it has been awarded a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (#7149792) titled "Device Registration Mechanism." The patent protects one of Axeda's key inventions relating to the ability of a device to automatically register and report data to a remote computer, part of the Rapid-Deploy™ technology built into Axeda® DRM.
