Enterprise Technology Sales Veteran to Drive Remote Service Software Leader's Growth Initiatives
Foxboro, Mass. - May 13, 2008 - Axeda Corporation, the secure remote service and support company, today announced that Matthew Ferry has joined the company as vice president of worldwide sales. In this role Ferry will lead the company's continued sales growth, adding customers in new and existing markets who are building successful remote service programs. Ferry is a proven sales executive with extensive experience in software, secure mobile computing and Internet related technologies. He also has deep expertise in On-Demand sales models.
In his 20-year career, Ferry has built several world-class sales organizations. As VP of Channel Sales at iPass Inc., he played an instrumental role in driving the company's rapid growth from an early stage start-up to the nearly $200 million worldwide leader in secure mobile computing. He was also a key contributor to the company's $112 million IPO - one of the most successful of 2003.

Prior to joining iPass, Ferry was Director of Sales for Fiberlink Communications, where he built a highly efficient sales team focused on selling a full range of high-end hosted solutions and services including remote access, firewalls and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). He began his career with the technology arm of Hough Petroleum and holds a bachelors degree in business from Rowan University.
