For Welch Allyn, mHealth means more business. After launching a line of connected devices, the company immediately viewed it as an opportunity to transform their business. In addition to leveraging connectivity to reduce costs and improving device uptime,
Welch Allyn could now generate new sources of revenue with value-added services based on their collected device data. How did they manage this transformation successfully?
View this Web seminar, hosted by FierceHealthcare, and learn how Axeda enabled Welch Allyn to:
- Automate remote software updates and upgrades – reducing the time to update devices remotely from 25 minutes to 5 minutes
- Increase customer satisfaction by improving previously manual processes
- Make customers more "sticky" by moving from one-time transactions to a subscription-based relationship
- Transform their devices into connected products that could, for example, run cloud-based applications for bio-med technicians
