Axeda DRM Enables Centralized Data and Enhanced Customer Service

MANSFIELD, Mass -- December 1, 2003 - Axeda Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: XEDA), the world's leading provider of device relationship management (DRM) enterprise software and services, today announced that FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has licensed the Axeda DRM systemTM.

The Axeda DRM system will extend Fuji's remote monitoring capability by enabling automated software upgrades, usage data tracking, and a 24x7 view into their deployed systems. It will also make it possible for all of their data to be centralized in one location.
As a web-based solution, the Axeda DRM system is a more secure, lower cost alternative to VPN and legacy dial-up solutions. Because it works through existing network security, such as hospital firewalls and proxy servers, no change in IT security is required.
